Mother at 19...

posted 12th Nov
My names Brynlee , I'm 19. I'm a mother. I know I'm young and I've started having kids at a young age. but everything happens for a reason. and i don't regret my babies. i just wish other women could be more kind about it.me and my husband work very hard to make sure our family is stable. kind of hard to find other young mothers who actually understand..

Well good. I hope you and your husband always put your children first and make good decisions for them. Eventually you'll prove everyone wrong.

maybe just make one big thread with your intro and pictures ... just sayin. and age means nothing if you have your smurf together and can support yourself and whatever children you have

If you want people to be more kind stop labeling your self as a teen mother & just call yourself a mom.

Your age is not a determining factor on your ability as a mother. If you can provide a stable loving home and financially support your child/children then thats all that matters. I had my 1st at 17, my 2nd at 21 and im 24 and pregnant with my 3rd. I'm married, we own our home, our house is stable, my DH has a great job, and I stay home with the kids to be actively involved in as much of their lives as I can. We dont ask or expect anything from anyone financially, babysitting, or their opinions. Only you know what You can reasonably and realistically take responsibility for child wise.

I was 19 when I had my first child. I grew up once I had her. People put me down about it then. As long as you are happy with your life screw those people. No need for negative people in your life. Enjoy what you have .

Has anyone ever told you that you resemble the singer Mya? You are beautiful and have a gorgeous family! I had my daughter at 20. Age doesn't matter as long as your babies come first. I know a few smurffy moms who are older!

I had my first at 19 and never considered myself a "teen mom" when i took the birthing classes the instructor even said i would feel more comfortable with the "teen moms", but at 18 and 19 i considered myself an adult. Who cares what everyone else thinks you are as long as you are a great mom to you babies and able to support them.

I was 17 and a senior in high school when I got pregnant with my first. I had him the day after my 18th birthday (: I'm now 20 with a two year old and a 4 month old. Age doesn't matter (: and most people are dumb to what your are dealing with. I'm proud to be a young mom (: it shows that you can handle a lot more than most people your age (:
