I'm 16, graduated, have a job start college in the spring and live on my own. I had WIC but not anymore. My baby is almost a month old and we're doing great. I work at a clothing store and his dad is in the military. I make sure my son has everything he needs. My parents had bought me a car for my 16th birthday and they bought his bassinet . I'm on their car insurance still but I have to pay my part of the bill along with gas. I buy his formula, diapers, and everything else. It is possible to provide for your child at 16... As much as I agree that most older women are better parents you can't forget about the few teen mothers who do everything on their own, too.

im 19 and 37 weeks i know the feeling of people thinking your too young and all that i raised my 2 brothers my family wasnt aroumd and now im about to raise my son ryan i give you props i know its hard and you can only do r best but in the end itll all pay off

My boyfriend works full time, and I look after our baby, we do our best and we love our little family. I also attend University still doing my degree to have a better future for me and my baby.   If you have everything worked out for your family then age does not matter, and I know we are on teen parenting here, but at least your an older 'teen' too.
