Yes, I'm sure a young mother who's probably still or barely out of high school, with most likely a minimum wage paying job and no home or car of her own is a much better mom than an older mom who's more likely to already have done with school, has a career, a good paying job and can most likely afford payments for a car and a home of her own.

You saying that, was so ignorant!

This is your opinion. And a very ill informed and misguided one. Statistics prove that older people are better parents than younger ones. Especially teen ones.

Lmao. I'm not talking about financially.. So chill. There are A LOT of older mother's that don't have a home, car, etc. You can't stereotype people.. Which clearly you are.

And actually, you're the ignorant one. I never specifically said that every teen mom is better than every older mom, so relax.

Finances have a whole LOT to do with how good of a parent you are.

Finances come into play a lot. So does emotional maturity. A teen's brain has not yet reached full maturity, and in our society, they are not focused or mature enough to be responsible for another human life.

When love can buy pampers, food and give a roof over a babies had get back at me. A bad parent would be one that brings a child into the world knowing she can't afford him or her. Not saying this is what you believe, but no having mommy and daddy helping a young parent raise a child does not make a teenager a better parent than someone who pays for their baby's and their own bills.

Guaranteed that VERY FEW, if any.. teens can raise their children without public assistance or help from friends/family. Not saying having these things make you a bad parent by any means... but having a baby KNOWING you'll have to rely on these things to raise your child, makes it a lot more difficult. Children do not have the means to care for children.

I have good education.., and went to college for lab assisting. I also have money IF I wanted to support my child on my own, so this isn't necassarily true. I have a vehicle, and pay everything myself.. So. The majority of teens can't do it by themselves, but there are some that are capable. There are a lot of older parents that have smurffy jobs, no vehicle, no home, no S/O and can't do it without financial support from the government.. Well at least in Canada.

By what you're saying Sweetie-Pie it sounds as if you think no young adult can support their child. Anything is possible..

I know it's possible because I'm one of those lucky teen parent who is successful, however it seems like you're pulling assumptions of your ass. It's more likely for a grown woman to be able to provide a better life for a child than it is for a teenage girl to provide a life for a child. Most likely no 30+ year old is still in school aside from a teenager who is probably still in high school or college having a kid and having to put up with school a job and a child is hard stuff not every teenager can do it.

Some murderers and molesters can go through therapy and be decent people, too. Doesn't mean we should give them all the benefit of the doubt.
