contractions?

How would you best describe them? Did they ever feel sharp to you or were they always a dull pain?

Mine were super sharp, located in one specific spot on my back. It stayed that way all the way up to actual delivery. I seriously wanted to stab a knife in my back
To counteract the pain

Mine always started off like a dull all over pain then it would turn into a a really sharp pain that seemed to be on the top of my bump.

In the beginning they felt like BH contractions, then turned into dull period cramping with a backache, and finally progressed to sharp gas pains.

Mine just felt like baby was pushing really hard on my belly to get out. Sometimes on the bottom of my belly, sometimes at the top, and sometimes it was all in my ribs and felt like I oculdnt breathe.

I think mine were dull at first but then got sharper. Smurf its been 3 1/2 years. I do know your stomach will tighten. See if you notice a pattern. When do you go to your doctor again?

Sorry for taking so long to reply. These are super sharp like a few inches under my belly button. Maybe 4 or 5". I can't tell if my belly is getting hard because I'll feel the baby shift as well so I can't tell if it's the baby coming out more or if it's my uterus. They don't have a pattern that I recognize. I just know when I move or sit up they really really hurt.

Could be the way he is laying in there. I remember Anthony used to press all the way up against one side and it hurt like smurf.

And I guess they weren't real contractions since I was able to finally go to sleeo.

My rule is if you can talk through them, you're probably not in active labor. When you can no longer talk or sleep through them, you're probably active ;-)
