Yes it is, it usually takes up to 2 weeks   I was glad when my son's fell off!!!

My first fell off after 7 days. 2nd & 3rd - it took roughly 14ish days, plus they both needed it frozen to help it fall off b/c it was oozing! So gross.

LO's one came off after 5 or 6 days, I think it's fairly normal  

my daughter was 11 days when hers fell off.

It's so close, only has a little part left to detach. They said don't use alcohol swabs, but then most of my friends said they did & it dried it up faster. I can't wait till its off, it's starting to stink a little. lol

My son's came off at 12 days.

My daughters fell off a few days ago and she's only 12 days old.

I was really unlucky, my son had a really thick cord and it took roughly 3 weeks lol. It was gross, but didn't get to stinky.

Holy cow... everyones LO's cords fell off fairly late.

My sons took 3 weeks! I was so glad when it finally fell off, it kept bleeding and I was so worried about it.

They told us 10 days with DD and it fell off in exactly 10 days.

My los fell off at 4 days, I got a little worried bc I though it was suppose to be longer. When he went for his after birth appointment she said it was normal. And she said use alcohol swabs to clean it.
