My husband and I have been throwing up since around 11pm. I started and he then started about an hr later. It basically came out of no where, and quickly turned into extreme vomiting and diarrhea. We both basically feel like we are dying, my chest and stomach feel bruised and its too uncomfortable to get any sleep. Is this something that is likely food related since it hit us both at the same time almost? I have never had food poisoning and neither has he, but we have no other symptoms such as fever. I am really concerned about getting our nb sick
If its not food poisoning then it sounds like the stomach flu. If it is food poisoning then you dont have to worry about the baby getting it but the stomach flu on the other hand is highly contagious. Good luck and I hope yall feel better soon.

We had flu shots, do they not protect against the stomach flu? I have never had it either. We always eat the same things for the most part as far as possible food poisoning goes but now we both have elevated temps around 99.9.
