Potty training...help!

So my DD just turned 3 in September, and we have been trying to potty train her. She absolutely hates it, if you even take her in the same room as the potty chair or the big girl potty she will kick and scream and fight until she gets her way.

Any tips or ideas on how I can get her to start going potty in either of the two?

We always had my daughters in the corner of her room(obviously cleaned all the time) and as she got used to it we just moved it closer to the bathroom.
