Rant about BD

We broke up the other day because he let his friend engrave the Gemini symbol into his arm and I was pissed about it and it started a fight with his friends, he then threatened to take me to court for custody of our son who he "loves" but yet he hasn't gotten up with him once, spends no time with him, hasn't helped pay for anything or try to support me emotionally at all (our son is a month old now, but he was born at 34w5d). He then tells me he wants to be "companions" which is pretty much friends with benefits and he expects me to be okay with this. THEN today, when he was supposed to come over and spend the night, he told me he couldn't. I know that his friends talked him out of it. So we got in a big fight about that, then when I get home I see that he deleted the profile picture of him with our son now that he's single. I'm seriously pissed and I wish our son didn't have his last name because he doesn't deserve to have the name of the smurf who was his sperm donor. Am I over reacting?

Nope. Take his ass to court for child support and be done with him.

He's sure as hell isn't making yours very easy. Get the test, and if its his, take him to court.

Engraved as in a tattoo? Tattoos aren't that big of a deal... Unless you mean like someone carved it on him with a knife or something. Then that would be weird.

But that other smurf. Seems like he isn't interested in a relationship and if he lets his friends dictate his choices about his family then he's not worth it. Leave, file for custody and CS and move on.

We have to go through DHS to get it and child support at the same time but it takes a long ass time. :p

Um, why would you break up with him because of body art? Carving's a form of tattooing, it's just using removal of the skin to put an image on the skin. I mean, I'm not for it, but dude, his body, his choice.

I don't see it as her breaking up with him specifically because of that, more than that started the fight that made her realize she was done. Or maybe she broke up with her, it doesn't say in the op.

*sigh* just because you "love" someone doesnt mean you need or should be with them. and you need to get that paternity test done asap!!! if he's such a loser then why do you "love" him? sounds like you love the idea of being in love. it sucks youre going thru this-but youre not alone. move on!! you and your baby deserve better. im going thru the attorney general and it does take a while but you gota do what you gota do girl! put your big girl panties on and go file! like tomorrow!! stop hanging with him, texting, calling, fb'ing *eye roll* and get the test done! he obviously wants nothing to do with you or the baby if hes acting this way. unacceptable!
