No, there no qualification, you pay what can afford to pay monthly. Premiums can be as lo as $50 a month as high a $1000 just depends on the company and the coverage you choose.

I was more so thinking that since more & more people will qualify, that Medicaid will bankrupt America.

I can't deny that theory. lol The funds for Obamacare will piggy back Medicaid. It is my hopes that it gets revised. The idea is great but the execution is poor.

Do it. My sister's ex husband wouldn't let her get health insurance, and she ended up with something and was in the hospital a few days. When she got out, he wouldn't pay the bill, but made her go file for that and it covered everything.

Yeah I wasn't waning a whole political debate. Haha. Just letting the lady know that she should be able to qualify, in the future, since she can't now.

That's good. Yeah it's something I will definitely take a look at and hopefully I get things squared away.

I just went through the whole ordeal with Medicaid. I was denied twice because they somehow thought I had insurance so they denied me, then they never got paperwork I brought in so they denied but but finally after I reapplied a third time I got an amazing caseworker who finally approved me.

You really have to push it for Medicaid. Call everyday, show up at the office, fax papers in multiple times etc.

Hope it all works out!

I did. I will do it one more time and make sure I talk to my caseworker this time. Can I even talk to her in person?? Could I switch caseworkers?
