Yeah, mine is pretty bad, i'm on insulin and a strict diet trying to get it under control. I'd like to go as long as possible, but i also have this weird feeling she won't make it to her DD.

I'm type 1 diabetic ..but I was induced twice. Both went Great and quick and my boys were huge

When did they induce you, and was it because of your diabetes? Do you take insulin?

Yeah I'm type 1 . So I'm insulin dependent size 12 yrs old. Juveniles diabetes. . Yeah they pull fluid with this needle through my stomach while doing a ultrasound and it test the baby lungs. And then within a day they get the results and another day I'm induced. No complications at all with the inductions. My blood sugar is always extremely good especially while pregnant but all my pregnancies have been difficult and issues.

Sorry all at 37 weeks. And yeah a needle type thing. Close to my belly buton. Its not as bad as it seems lol .just a little uncomfortable. nd its safe.

Yeah lol. But its quick and I suppose its good to know babies lungs are fully developed

my ob does this often. i didn't have it done but i know girls who had. it's even listed in the packet she gives out when she lays out step by step for every vist

Its called an amino I believe. With my current #4 I'm actually not getting it done since he actually isn't huge nor issues. Any induction b4 39 weeks my Dr does it

I was induced at 41weeks or 39 and 4days. My dr changed my date going by my period and not first ultra sound. When i went in on the day scheduled the dr on call didn't want to keep me because he saw my records and was going by the first ultrasound (not the first dr who thought the same thing) that was fine with me thought i was gonna just go.back home but they kept me because my.blood pressure was high and now i wish it wasn't that day. So they started my induction and put this medicine not sure what its called behind my cervix i had to wait 12hours if it doesn't work you gotta do it for another 12hours well it worked the first time i was 100%thinned out then my dr broke my water and they started pitocin. I was fully dialted about 7hours or alittle less cause i had my baby 8pm so not to sure on the time. But everything went well i just wouldn't do it again cause.my baby or body was not ready and i wanted to do it all natural but after a few hours on pitocin i was soo tired and it kicked my ass so i got the epi. Im still very upset i didnt want it and hopefully won't have to be induced next time. It wasn't bad medically but like i said i wanted to go natural and the normal contractions were nothing compared to the ones you get from pitocin. My poor baby had such dry skin and the cord was around her neck so I'm kinda glad i was induced
