Honestly I don't know your whole situation here but... I would have to have a DAMN good reason for kicking out a parent. Way better than being rude, dirty or eating my food. I was rude, dirty and ate my mom's food for 18 years. Like I said, I don't know the whole situation with him and her, but I can imagine that not many people would kick their mom out on the street, especially since he has a young brother with her. Maybe instead he could have her go find a job or something.

Nope I would leave, and tell SO he could visit me but I wouldn't come to him.

It's a shame there is a young child involved. That would worry me more than SO's M. It's not his fault necessarily that she allows him to get away with acting that way. Children almost always test their limits. This is a tough situation. I'm sorry this is happening but like I said before, it's not right and you are not wrong. It's one thing to stay with someone but another to "take over" that persons house so to speak when you are guests.

at the same time, i'd probably be cps involved because her dragging her son around place to place is unacceptable....i mean...she needs to get out but i wouldn't want to kick her out on the street with a kid..so maybe he needs to go to a foster home.
