Call me crazy but that honey vinegar sounds great! So does the nut butter one! I use sunbutter (made from sunflower seeds)

I have alterier motives, it's not just niceness, LOL. A I don't want to set her off because my kids love her and she can go off the deep end over minor smurf. And B we have a good truce going which I enjoy. She doesn't walk on me like she does everyone else and I try to accommodation her. It took some tense moments to get here and I like the middle ground, LOL

I thought they both sounded great! I saved them for a rainy day so maybe it's time to experiment.

I've tried that, she starts going on and on about how she doesn't want to be a bother and don't mind her, then gets pissy over it. I tried last year when we were visiting for Christmas. It was a disaster, she had a "moment", left a snarky note about how nobody would miss her and disappeared for a week. It was super awkward since we were STAYING with her.

I bake a lot with almond and coconut flour instead of wheat. We don't use white sugar, mostly honey, maple syrup and fruit juice.

There are some really good paleo diet recipes out there for desserts. Search paleo desserts on pinterest and tons of things come up

I found a recipe for gluten free oreos and chocolate dipped espresso meringue drops. I'm going to make those and the honey candy. I'm also thinking about finding a better roasted chickpea recipe for something savory.

Let me ask you a question, she's going to be staying a few days so what kind of stuff should I grab so she has regular food on hand to eat? Like some staple items.

Those sound so good.

If she eats pretty healthy I would have cut veggies and hummus and fruits. If not, most tortilla chips are gluten free and so is salsa. Gluten free bread at the store is Yuck to me but some people like it. You could do some chicken salad sandwiches with it.

She doesn't eat bread. Come to think of it I'm not sure I've ever actually seen the woman eat, LOL Guess I'll troll around the grocery store and see what I can find.

Hit the Asian section. You probably know a lot of that is gluten free. My kids love rice noodles, stir fry veggies and chicken
