Stretch Marks

Ugh so I'm 18 years old and never thought I would be having a baby this soon. As a selfish teenager venturing into a world I know nothing about, stretch marks is one of my biggest worries. I am almost 34 weeks, I went from 115lbs to about 130 right now, and still have 6 weeks to go. My baby is over sized so I'm afraid I'm getting ready to get huge and have stretch marks everywhere. How soon did everyone start noticing theirs and are there any warning signs to look for before you get them? I have none so far, I've been itching for about a month and a half but put lotion on to stop the itch and never scratch. I just need to mentally prepare myself, so help, someone!?

38 weeks with my first.

I started to get them around 27 weeks. There are things you can do to help with the discomfort, but if you're going to get them theres nothing you can do about it, its genetic, I think. Just learn to love em.

If its going to happen you can't prevent them. Theyre just a part of pregnancy, the only thing you can do is love your body and know why you have them there. I got some from my firs pregnancy after giving birth to my son, on my butt which was weird to me. Soon after the faded.

Hah I had stretchmarks before I even got pregnant. The best advice I can give you is love your body, and don't give a damn what anyone else thinks because their opinions don't matter.

with my first i think i got them around 36-37 weeks. thats when i blew up. but they were only around my belly button and you cant see them unless i point them out! dont worry about it!!! you didnt gain too muchweight.

I've had 3 pregnancies,
I'm 128lbs, I get up to around 200lbs by delivery.
And I didn't get any stretchmarks...

Sooo u made it this far, hopefully u won't get them  

Lol I've had a few since before pregnancy but they didn't get worse until late second trimester. I just got over it and knew it was apart of having kids. Lotion like crazy to help with the itching. I took baths a lot with oil in them too to soak my skin. With my second they blew up and now she's 11 months old and they're pretty much gone, still there but skin colored.

you may not get them. i am 38w3d and i don't have any really.

OMG you just made me feel so much better about my weight gain with this pregnancy!!!
