pain... is it normal

I'm 37 weeks 3 days. And tonight I'm having a ton of pressure down there it hurts to walk. I took a warm bath and felt down there and it seemed a little swollen. I'm a first time mom and dnt know what to expect. I have dr apt tomorrow morning. But it hurts so bad and my backs starting to hurt. Normal??

I have the same feelings tonight. I have been having contractions though too. IDK if it is normal, I am only 32 weeks.

I dnt think I'm having contractions. I dnt even know what those feel like. My tummy tightens but I always think it's baby kicking

Sounds like it could be it, have you had your bloody show ? My waters went before I had any type of pain however I had a feeling of pressure for a good few days before it happened, and it normally starts with pain in your back.

No bloody show or leaking. My back hurts tho.

Sounds normal to me! My crotch felt like someone kicked me in it with a steal toe boot the entire last month. The pressure from her giant head pressing on everything was just miserable. Talk to your doctor about it though, see if she can suggest anything. Mine told me to try hot baths, but at that point there was no getting my huge butt in and out of a bathtub without a forklift.

    I feel stupid posting this, but we have a handicap potty that we use for camping. I had DH put that in the shower for me and OMG it is heaven to just sit there and let the water run.

In that case it probably is just babys head as it gets lower ready to come! Not long now, enjoy every last day as you miss it when there here.

That's exactly how I feel!! I took warm bath last night and Yes it is difficult getting up n down lol
