My SIL tried it and all it did was make her crap alllll day. She tried it more then once in the same week for nothing because she went overdue.
Baby will come when baby is ready.

And that is my plan... To wait. But with my friend talking to me about it, I became very very Interested in hearing other's experiences. LoL I am sure there are A LOT of Bad ones considering the amount of smurf that will be exploding out of your ass and the amount of time you could be on the toilet but like I said I WANT to hear other's stories about it whether it is GOOD or BAD. =P

Seriously it's not worth the risk. Your kid will come. Enjoy the time while you have it.

My doctor already tried scheduling me a Gel Induction for Tuesday, but I cancelled it. My friend said to try caster oil, that it worked for her and it might be a more natural way then being induced. I DO NOT want to be induced with pitocin what so ever. I do not want to wait and wait and wait, have been hella patient, and then be told that I need to be induced with pitocin. My doctors appointment is on Thursday 4 days, so my doctor is probably going to suggest again some way of induction other than pitocin to try and avoid needing the pitocin in the future. Does anyone know of natural ways of induction that are safe for the baby and I if I get to 42 weeks or further?

That recipe isn't very specific about how much wine to put in the drink lol

Your doc isn't going to let you go past 42 weeks...you'll be lucky if he doesn't send you to L&D on Thursday after your appointment. My sister was induced with cervadil and didn't need pitocin. She ended up having a c-section but that was due to high blood pressure(which was why they induced in the first place).

Like... half of what? a bottle?

The people that I know that used the recipe sub the wine with orange juice or mango juice.....enough juice so that you couldnt taste te caster oil.

Oh. Okay. I don't mind being induced after 41 weeks as long as it is not by pitocin, but I just wanted to wait some additional time after I reached my 40 week mark in case My LO wanted to come within her own timing. I am just so stuck on not wanting pitocin that I cancelled the Gel Induction because of so many things I read about it leading to pitocin after your cervix has softened. So I chickened out. Haha I will be 40 weeks and 4 days at my next check up. Oh and also, I do not want to ruin my WHOLE families thanksgiving by going into lbor on the 22nd which I would then be 41 weeks and 4 days... I mean ya I am sure they wouldn't say I ruined it because they are so loving and want me to have this little angel but I would have that guilty feeling inside that I did ruin all the holiday time, cooking time, and everything else that comes along with thanksgiving... But whatever, I just am confused on what to do, how long to wait, and I do not want to be selfish. So ya, hmmmm. =/
