I finally did it!

I let DD sleep with a blanket  
She's 10.5 months old and I've never put anything in her crib, ever.
Not a big deal to most people im sure but I was really stressing about it.

She did awesome   I woke up about 4 times through the night to check on her and she either had it pulled up to her chin or kicked completely off, lol.

I started letting DD sleep with blankets when she had full head control. So around 5 or 6 months I think.

I don't think I let Alyssa sleep with a blanket until she was 1.

I'm such a paranoid nut I don't think my kid will ever have a blanket until 1 or after.

I don't know why but it's really been a big issue for me, lol.
I've been arguing with myself for about 3 months about it.  

I was extremely paranoid about this. I didn't put a blanket in with DD until she was almost 15 months. I would have done it at one, but the house we lived in didn't have air conditioning and it was too hot for one.

What kind of blanket?

I would have waited but even dressed very warm with the heat on she gets cold.
The windows in this house are drafty because it's old.

A crochet blanket.
I opted for that since it's more breathable.

She sleeps in my room and I still wake up often to make sure she's breathing.
SO thinks I'm a wack job   lol

I let my son nap with a fleece tag blanket I made him...Fleece is breathable I know cuz I used to keep my sugar gliders in a fleece zip up pouch all day long while they slept...

I was the same...I ended up cosleeping cuz I was so paranoid I couldn't sleep

She has a thin fleece, maybe I'll let her use that one  I can't crochet, I bought it, haha.
