anxiety meds

If you are on meds for your anxiety what are you on?

I've been on celexa (makes me super suicidal so obviously a no go)
I've been on zoloft (it works but makes me super drowsy)

I'm not really depressed. I just have anxiety that is screwing with me

Have your doctor try you on ativan. (lorezapam)[sp]
I was on it for a while like 2 years ago, it helped quite a bit, and I didn't really have any side effects.

Lexapro is an antidepressant that helps with anxiety
Buspar helps with anxiety
Ativan helps with anxiety
I've been on Klonopin before which is a benzodiazepam like Ativan

I've been on an awesome combo of Prozac, seroquel, and trileptal

Klonopin. Love it.

I can't do seroquel. Should have said that in the OP too. Smurf knocks me out faster than zoloft does and makes me sicker than a dog.  

for anxiety i have an rx for ativan prn

after years of that they switched me to xanax prn
but now ive just been using 50 mg of benedryl prn, and that seems to help me better than any other med ive takenfor anxiety?pamic attacks I've been on meds since i was 16... so 11ish years now  

I stayed on buspar. It's a non narcotic and not habit forming!!

All anti psychotics are nightmares for me. I am on a combo of klonopin and xanax. They both really help, but are rarely prescribed together. I also use Benadryl to sleep. At night I combine the 3 yet I've been so not wanting to live I've been combining just to knock me out. Oh yes I also take 3 gabopenten at bed time for anxiety. I went from cymbalta to effexor xr now back to cymbalta, which will hopefully balance my anxiety. I just hope something works soon

yea I'm on benadryl daily for just in case of coming in contact with latex.
