I wish that was the case for me. I could eat everything off their horrible little menu. Breakfast being the worst culprit! I try and stay away from them as much as possible.

I often have chunks of meat in one hand and a hag in the other. It's a hard life but someone has to live it.

I have a picture of my great grandmother at age 15, for her wedding. She lived on a farm, worked 14 hours of hard labor a day, and ate only what was harvested. And considering the location she grew mostly dark green and purple veggies. Add that to the one bison slaughtered at the beginning of the year- and that's her entire diet. And it wasn't like she was able to buy herself into fatness. She was poor as hell.
And she wasn't "fat" but she was very thick. A lot of it was muscle, but there was a notable amount of extra weight on top of that. She looked that way until the day she died, and it had nothing to do with excess food or lack of exercise.

To what the OP said, it doesn't disgust me when I see obese adults because I don't care if they want to destroy their own bodies but it does make me sad to see obese children. When I see kids whose chests/heads are so massive that they can barely walk and it looks like they've been blown up with a balloon it makes me sick. Preschool aged kids are supposed to be constantly running, jumping, climbing, and being active and it is horrible to see kids that can barely walk across the house. It's not how kids are meant to be.

Seeing obese kids makes me really sad. I was always a fat kid and my family, also all obese, claimed that it was "just how we were built" and all of that smurf. It had absolutely nothing to do with how we were built and everything to do with how we ate and how little activity we got. I realized this once I was older; I had to re-learn how to eat completely.
The only thing that really bothers me with obese adults is when they make comments about other peoples weight. My grandmother and one cousin are both morbidly obese and are always talking about other people. I'm one of their favorite targets and I weigh about 145 - 155 when not pregnant.

Quoting regina_margot:" bullsmurf you'd lose weight if you exercised and ate right"

No actually, I can't. I go on walks when I'm able to walk with my leg braces on. I do the 'gimpy bastard' work out videos for people in wheelchairs. I DO eat right, which I stated pretty clearly. I can't even eat fried foods because of aforementioned gastric issues. I have no had an appetite since I had emergency life saving surgery in april. I have to force myself to eat. Still have not lost weight. So please do not assume you know everything about every single person ever.

I'm also considered healthy, by the way. Every time I get my blood pressure checked they do it twice because they think it's wrong since it is perfectly normal. My health issues recently were due to medications I was taking. My cholesterol is fine, no diabetes, no worries of it, no clogged arteries, I am healthy. Because I eat healthy. And I am still very overweight.
And yes I agree, a lot of it has to do with what is in our foods. Even while trying to eat unprocessed foods they still slip it into our meats and god only knows what is in our drinking water! And have they ever done any tests on what genetically altered foods might do over a long period of time? Who knows anymore!

o puhlieaze, modified foods! you're gonna blame modified food, seriously?
my food is just as processed as yours, and i'm 120 lbs.
if you're honest with yourself, how many calories do you eat every day?
because if you ate half as many, you wouldn't be starving, but you JUST MIGHT be less fat

look, if you wanna be fat, that's just fine. but don't blame it on anything other than what it is, which is a lack of discipline and self control
