And what's sad, is those that have been offered the insurance through their employer, don't/can't accept it because it dips that much into their pay.

Seems like the employees they do have should be thankful for their job since massive lay offs in other companies have begun already. And no I don't blame them at all.

I don't understand this economy right now. People say that it is bad but I am involved with the hiring process for a full day once a week and I can tell you that people are not that desperate. Also since when did people who were getting hired for sub positions expect sick days and full benefits? You are a SUB so how exactly would a sick day work out?

It is the truth. Or people come in and expect day care assistance for their children or a higher wage than what we are paying and want to argue about it.

I just read a whole article about Applebee's and Papa John's pizza and their plans to cut costs.

The ENTIRE first page of comments was people calling for a boycott of these companies. Why? Well, some said they are racists who are punishing people for reelecting O. Some others said that they fired people according to whom they voted for. Still others said it was because They are racist companies who can't stand seeing a black man as president.

Everything to vilify these companies and not a peep about this being Obama's doing.

Evil capitalists.

Yeah, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Even once it starts getting better, inflation is going to set in from all the money the Fed has been shoveling into circulation so we'll probably just dip right back into a recession.
