I pull them apart then freeze them, the boys and I eat them frozen they are the best! but as a few people mentioned they are "messy" and they do stain clothing.

Quoting B♥Z:" They are good. From what I know, you're not suppose to eat the seeds (which are in every single one of those round pieces) so it might not be a good snack for a young kid. And, they stain pretty bad!"

You can eat the seeds.

Quoting KNZ.:" haha, have you ever bought just the bowl of seeds?"

I actually did a couple weeks ago, but dumb me.. forgot about them and I've been gone for the last ten days and won't be home until tomorrow late night, so I'm sure they're bad by now.

And even that way, you still have those damn seeds to worry about. I'm pretty sure I end up eating half of them anyways.

Do try! Just I can't eat a ton of them- I get the runs if I eat an entire one

I actually quite enjoy pulling the arils out. Jack likes it too, because it's messy. I just have him sit on the coffee table in his drawers and have at it.

[That's actually how he learned the colors red and white. White is yuck and red is yum!  ]

LOL thats what we do!! Or we sit out side to eat them, let the boys go under the sprinkler for a rinse then they jump straight into the wading pool.

Lol no it's not... I eat the whole thing but it tastes better without the seed (inside the red part).
