Marijuana and Prostitution should be legalized throughout the US?

Why or why not?

I personally think it would be a huge help economically since it could be taxed and regulated.  

With the prostitution, there would be health code regulations (as there are in Nevada), and laws on it regarding age and such.

Both legal. If someone wants to sell sex, fine. As long as everyone consents, obviously.

i think they should both be legal. i'm a toker so i'm 100% for legalizing weed, i would never get into prostitution myself but as long as there are health code regulations i don't think there's anything wrong with it.

Yep! And I think it would make it easier to be regulated since it's out in the open.

I think they way they do it in NV is awesome.

Both should be legal. If people want to smoke they should be able to, take drug dealers off of the street and stimulate the economy. Prostitutes should be protected instead of being on the streets potentially being beaten and robbed and all of that. Also, if they want to sell their bodies I think they should be able to.

I think both should be legal. I mean, there are several states that just legalized weed, so we'll see how it goes, and Nevada is already legal in the area of prostitution, and hasn't had any problems. As long as its regulated, i don't see a problem.

Everyone so far who has commented has said both legal.

I'm really curious as to WHY the people who think that only marijuana should be legal or neither should be legal think such.

i guess im pretty late on this but i didn't even know it was legal there. just like smoking weed, prostitution will happen whether it's legal or not so they should just legalize it and make it as safe as possible. if people are willing to pay and get paid for sex that should be no ones business but theirs, legalizing it and making it safer just makes sense.

But not all of NV. Just in one county by Vegas or something. It starts with an H.

ETA: Here is what I found on the rules of it...

"It is legal only in licensed brothels in counties with less than 400,000 people living in them. Therefore, the counties where Las Vegas (Clark) and Reno/Carson City reside are off limits."

Yes both! I do not smoke the crap cant stand it but should be legal. Prostituion should be legal. Regulate it . Less STDS, rapes, abuse etc.

Exactly. I mean I would never participate in prostitution. I might smoke, but that's not bad. I think the problem is, so many people want to make decisions for everyone else because of their personal beliefs. Instead of staying out of it.
