Baby Oatmeal Cereal

posted 11th Nov
I have TONS of baby oatmeal cereal that neither one of my babies would/will eat. Does anyone have any baby oatmeal cereal recipes to make them into teething biscuits or snack cookies. I would hate for it to go to waste and I figured I would try something new to see if my babies would eat it.
Thanks.

I have goggled for recipes and everything I am finding is not simple recipes its more like I have to go buy a thousand things in order to make it which I do not feel is worth it. We don't get WIC this is all oatmeal that I have purchased myself, that is why I am trying to figure out some recipes for it. So I am not out that money. After making the cookies if my babies do not eat it, I fully intend on donating it to a homeless shelter but first I would like to make the cookies because my daughter loves to snack and I figured why not make the cookies.

Baby Cereal Pancakes - not a biscuit recipe but a great finger food and I just had to include it.

Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup baby barley cereal (or other baby cereal)
1 cup formula (or another liquid such as milk)
1/2 cup mashed banana (or fruit of your choice)
1 tbsp melted margarine or butter (unsalted type)
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup baby oatmeal
apple juice (about 1/2 cup) Use water if you prefer

Add cinnamon, nutmeg, dash of vanilla or other flavorings if you wish.

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and add enough juice to make pancake consistency. Cook on cook top in frying pan as with "regular" pancakes. **Freezes Well**

Thanks!! Wish I could add cinnamon, unfortunately my daughter is HIGHLY allergic to it which actually makes Christmas time awful because I find people are constantly using it around this time of the year. Not including it being on everything (gingerbread houses included)
I will def try this recipe in the morning for breakfast!
