I'm just gonna watch this....the only one worth sharing never got all the way to the marriage part.

Rhiannon Deason. Got engaged June 30, 2011. We were flying out that night to visit my family, and my clothes were in the dryer, so I was sitting around naked waiting for them to dry. So he comes in with DD, and she's yelling "Mommy, Mommy, I have something really important to ask you!" I asked if I could get my bathrobe off my bed first since I wasn't wearing any clothes, and I was told, no,just let her ask you real quick. OK, fine. "Would you marry my Daddy?!" I look over at him and he has a ring in his hand. I start bugging out, wanting my bathrobe, but he wouldn't let me get it til I answered. So of course I said yes, lol.

I'm not sure if mine would count...the ring he gave me when he proposed was made out of tinfoil...haha, he said it was just temporary, until he could afford a better ring that I deserved. Of course I said yes...then the following Chirstmas, I got my real ring...do I post the tin foil one, or the one I wear everyday?

DH proposed twice, but the second time, I didn't get my ring until the wedding.

I'm not married yet, but I will be getting married in April. I got this on March 9, 2011. My SO took me to my old beach house that we've had since I was a kid but they recently sold it. He took me on the beach in front of it, after making me stay up all night watching Paranormal Activity and proposed to me at sunrise. It was so beautiful. It was also kind of akward. I could tell he was really nervous, but it just made it that much better.

I knew something was up (he's not good at keeping a secret!) He came home one night with a dozen roses. 10 roses had individual notes for each month we have been together (he proposed only 10 mos after we started dating). Each note was about that month that we were dating - the first one was about how we met/fell in love, and the months after were all about the special moments we have had together. The 11th one said that he loved me and had a poem on it. The 12th one said "Will you marry me?"
He read each of them to me on his knee while I was sitting in a chair. He opened up the box and showed me the ring. I said absolutely yes and he placed the ring on my finger & the rest is history! We got married 10/8/11.

My beautiful engagement ring that my husband got me was custom made. Why it's custom made is because if you look in the middle of my ring which is the main stone the diamond is on it's angle. My husband told me on the night of our wedding that he wanted to wait to tell me when I received my ring that it was past, present, and future ring. We got engaged in front of our families around Christmas time. I just love the meaning behind it, how unique it is, and how beautiful it is. He couldn't of picked out a better ring for me to wear on an every day basis. I don't have a shot of my wedding band with my engagement ring. My wedding band is just simple white gold band. The photos that I'm entering of my ring are from our wedding.

DH worked nights, he got home late and asked me to start a bath for him. I started it and walked out of the bathroom and there he was holding the ring and asked me to marry him

Me and my husband got married on September 24, of 2011. We got engaged in July of 2011 and I was actually pregnant at the time but we didnt know it yet. We got married quick, but we knew it was the right thing. And we are more in love now then ever.
