road trip

I have to take my bother (17yr) my baby (4m) all the way to Arkansas next Thursday. That is were we are moving. My brother can not drive. It is a 8+ hr drive with out a baby. We can not get a room to stay in because we can't afford it. Any suggestions on making the trip go smoothly? Also we will be bringing suit cases in the trunk. 4 door small car.

If I have to make a road trip I don't sleep at rest stops. If you really need to nap find a truckstop

Hopefully the baby will sleep most of the way and when he's up that's when you should make some stops to get out and stretch. Bring toys and have your brother keep the baby company in the back. It shouldn't be too bad.
