Don't get me wrong..

I love what I'm doing for my son by breastfeeding. I love the quiet time we share and that connection. But sometimes it really sucks.

Especially right now because I'm sick. I have a horrible, stupid gross cough. I'm coughing up phlegm. My nose is sore from blowing it so often. My throat is raw from all the coughing and I can barely talk half the day.

Only thing I can do? Suck on a damn Halls.

I was looking forward to being able to medicate myself at will and having a "drink my face off" night after I wasn't pregnant anymore. Pity party for one? Yep.

Ugh I know how you feel. I just came down with this cold or whatever & its kicking my butt. Everytime I start coughing or sneezing it wakes ds up & he starts crying  

I took vitamin d3, garlic, echinecea, raw honey, oil of oregano and fresh squeezed citrus juice every 4 Ro 6 hours mixed with green tea and killed the flu virus in 3 days.


You breastfeeding will help the baby from not getting sick. Baby vicks vapor rub can be put on the feet and covered with socks at night for a couch.

If you don't want to try herbs, raw honey in fresh squuezrd virus juice is great. You can take cotton socks, soak in luke warm water, wring, then cover in wool or fleece socks at night. If you wake up and they are dry, wet them again.
