Moving to Sacramento
posted 11th Nov
Does anyone live down there? We are moving down there December 26/27.
What are the bad areas of Sac to avoid?
How much, on average, are daycares?
Do you like it there?
Any tips on living there?

I attended college there for a semester. South sac can be bad besides like elk grove and theres a couple other places there that are alright. I liked that there was more to do there of course its going to b a bit more spendy and its hard to find a job if u dont have connections. If u have to be somewhere at a certain time make sure u leave like 45min or so ahead of time.. people are crazy drivers there so always keep ur eye on the road and drive aggressively

I live in sacramento. It's not what it used to be at all. Avoid South Sacramento if you can. Elk Grove, Natomas and the Fair Oaks area are pretty nice. I stay in the northern area; Antelope/North Highlands and its decent. I don't like it here though because to say its the capital there is NOTHING to really do unless you want to be in the downtown area all the time. Day cares honestly vary, a lot of people I know put their children in the schools like Phoenix and this other daycare I know of. I guess I'm more used to the Bay Area lifestyle so this place rubs me the wrong way. I've lived here since the third grade though alternating. Oh and be prepared for leaving early if you have an appointment to make. Traffic is annoying and everything is all spaced out. PM me if you know the specific or general area you'll be moving to. I know this place like the back of my hand lol.
