To go to the dr or to not...

My oldest daugter is three and she has been awfully quiet and sensitive today but I just thought it was one of those days dealing with a new baby [dd#2 was born halloween] but she fell asleep early on the couch and when I went to move her, she felt real warm. Checked, sure enough, 102 degrees. I gave her medicine about an hour and a half ago and I just felt her and she still feels warm. She is sweating! Do I take her in, let her try to sleep it off...

Check and see if the meds bring it down. If meds keep it down, there's no reason to take her in, but I'd call her Ped if it isn't gone by Monday.

Did you take her temp. If she's running a low fever put a cool washcloth on her forehead or give her tylenol
