How many PP appts did you have?

I will be going on my 3rd in 2 weeks. Bleeding has stopped but i still have stitches in and really anemic. I am almost 5 weeks PP. Just curious because my stitches are driving me nuts and dr wont take them out. She wants them in for the full 6 weeks then see how things go. And i hate having bad headaches while be tired!!

I only had one with each of my kids and the stitches came out themselves, after a few weeks.

Uh...I went in a couple days after we were released from the hospital for his check up and the doctor just wanted to ask how I was feeling. I never had a 6 week check up because we were moving cross country when my son was born. With my daughter i only had one appointment.

Why do they wanna leave your stitches in? with my son my stitches were the dissolving kind.

I had one at 2 weeks PP to check my csection incision, one at 6 weeks pp, which is standard, and I had Mirena inserted, and then one at 8 weeks pp to get my Mirena checked.

I only had one at 6 weeks PP and that's all my OB does unless there's medical reasons to do more. I had stitches, too, but they were the type that came out on their own.

I had one at 10 weeks and that was my only appointment.

My son was a preemie and I had pregnancy induced hypertension at the end (among other things) so I had, and still have, quite a few appointments.
