Baby Cereal

What are somethings that I can mix with baby cereal besides formula/breastmilk to make it taste good so LO will eat it?

I've been putting it in her bottles for a while but lately she doesn't seem to like it at all. And I know all about the choking hazard blah blah & idc. My babies have never choked on it.

I was thinking maybe putting it in baby food but idk if it would mask the flavor of the cereal & idk if she would like the texture.
Any ideas?

mashed bananas ? I dont know I always skipped the cereal and went straight to baby food at 6-7 months

Yeah, you can mix it with pureed food. It will make it thicker though so you might need to water it down with BM/formula.

How old is LO?

At this point I'd just give her soft fruit or veggies.

Well you need to make the cereal with bm or formula but my DD never got rice cereal, I gave her only oatmeal because it is more nutritious. I would mix like baby food apples, pears, or bananas in with it.

My babies liked it mixed with yogurt.

Chocolate pudding in a sippy cup.

Mayonnaise.

If you're putting it in the bottle for no reason then she is obviously already getting it so why add more? Just seems stupid to do it for no reason.

This is what I read:
I know im doing something that could possibly harm my child but hey it hasn't happened yet so im gonna keep trucking along since my children are the exception and nothing bad will ever happen.

yea stop with cereal in the bottle why even risk it. Is it to much hassle to just feed your child with a spoon?

Well I thought everyone knew you had to do chocolate first. I definitely don't want my LO to choose vanilla over chocolate.

We put his oatmeal in all his food.

You don't even want to hear what I have to say about the cereal in the bottle. It isn't even about the choking hazzard. I guess if you were fully researched you would know about it.

Anyway................. Yes, you can mix it with baby food. There is just really no point. They don't really have a developed taste. That is why they don't have a problem eating things like cat poop and dog food. Just mix it how you should and feed the baby food seperate.
