Bleeding aftet tubal?

Got my tubes cauterized on Wed. I was 5 wks PP. I had mild bleeding until yesterday when it almost stopped completely. Today I started bleeding pretty heavily with some small clots (sorry if tmi). I kinda feel sore now and honestly it feels a lot like a period. When you ladies had you tubes cauterized did you bleed quite a bit or do you think it jump started my period? I know it doesnt really matter but just wondering what your experience was like...thank you.
