It's only red on the outside because they dye it to make it look better. It's totally fine.

The brown color is the actual color of ground beef. They put a red dye to make it look more appealing

I dont think they dye it. I think they just mix the old with the new oh wrll. As long that it doesnt smell bad is okay right?

No, no jk... I'm being serious! We don't eat beef... At all.. My sons had it maybe 2-3 times in his life.

Nope, not a joke. They dye oranges too to make them look more orange.

No, they do dye it. They dye a lot of stuff that you don't realize.

The beef is altered to make it look red. If it were not chemically treated it would brown from the outside in from oxidizing and age. It's essentially hormones put into the beef, which I'm not a fan of. My step mom was telling me it's the reason why so many boys and girls hit puberty at 8 and 9 now. Doesn't surprise me.
