We had vanilla with fresg strawberry filling and whipped cream frosting.  

We made my daughter a vanilla cake with strawberry frosting... She loved it!

for a boy or a girl????


for my niece we made a strawberry cake with creamcheese frosting
but for a boy i would do vanilla but use blue food coloring to dye the batter
but the confetti cakes make a blue vanilla frosting now... and betty crocker makes these packets you can mix into the frosting the change the color and flavor of it

we had the same one for my daughters 1st (and every other birthday since then)

my son had a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting. it was very good!

I made a smores cake for him this year. So good!

We did 24 cupcakes. Half chocolate and half vanilla. I gave DS a chocolate one, though.

We're doing a Minnie Mouse theme so right now I'm planning on cutting her smash cake into the shape of Minnie's bow, making it a vanilla cake and I'll probably layer it with strawberries and use a strawberry frosting to make the bow pink. Everyone else will get a Minnie Mouse's head shaped cake to eat  

e have a garden out back so we picked carrots and made Ds a carrot cake for his birthday, and he loved it so much! He had a huge piece.

thats adorable!! you should test the frosting with her before the actual party.. remember conans party? he had have vanilla half chocolate cupcakes. but the dye was bad.. (you were there so im not going into detail)
