Chest clip needs to go higher and the straps look too loose.

This site has made me more aware too! I see pictures on fb all the time and just wanna correct the parents lol.

Is he forward facing or rear facing?
Like someone else said, it needs to be tighter- you shouldn't be able to pinch the slack in the straps. Also, the chest clip need to be even with his armpits.

have you heard of the pinch test with the straps if you pinch the top of the strap above there arm and it comes up its to loose and its not a problem we all need help time and again

Its too loose and chest clip needs to be moved up.

If he's forward facing, then the straps need to be above his shoulders, in which case you would have to move the head piece.
If he's rear facing, then the straps should be at or below his shoulders, which it looks like they are (hard to tell from the picture). If this is the case, and the head piece isn't pushing his shoulders down, then I don't see any reason why it would have to be moved.
