what should i do?

posted 10th Nov
SO has a party to go to at 7pm & my roommate has work at 9:45. I'm supposed to drive them both because we only have one car but since my legs can't reach the pedals well without being really close to the steering wheel I'm scared to drive the distances of these places because last night I tried just driving down the street for pizza & my stomach presses on the steering wheel. Which makes it super hard to turn because it hurts my stomach. What should I do? If I don't take SO to that stupid party he'll bitch for eternity(even though its the 3rd one he's gone to in a month that I haven't been invited to)& my roommate has to have a way to work

Have your roommate take him to the party

I raised it as high as it would go last night & it still presses on my stomach because of how close I have to be to drive. I'm a couple days away from 38 weeks lol so I'm not surprised

He won't let her drive his car.

Have him drive himself to the party with you and your roommate then when he gets dropped off let your room mate drive to work (he is none the wiser) and you just drive ur self home.

Then tell him to find another ride. I'm really short too, and couldn't drive our sedan while I was pregnant because I had to sit so close to the wheel. It's really unsafe if you get into an accident and the airbag goes off. Wonder how important getting to that party would be to him then?
Have your boyfriend drive your roommate to work, and then tell him to find a ride to the party. Also, I'm assuming it's a drinking party- I wasn't aware that those are "invite-only".

ETA: Or as someone else suggested, have him drive to the party with both of you, then when he gets out have her drive to her work, and then you only have to drive home.

This is a 93 plymouth acclaim lol so it is not equipped to accommodate women who are expecting at all. Its actually a party at the haunted house he worked at this year(they wouldn't care if I came but I guess having a pregnant fiance with you isn't 'cool' or whatever. To my knowledge there won't be any drinking on his part but who knows
