Obama slander on fb

posted 10th Nov
Okay people. Please tell me if I'm wrong..but when you post a comment on a status for all to see, wouldn't it be silly to get mad if someone just didn't agree with you or corrected you with the real facts?

I can't post the screen shot from my phone, but this girl went on and on about Obama being Muslim, this nation is Christian not Muslim and he only won because he's black and people who are lazy voted for him, etc.. It struck a nerve in me something pierce. I think I was mature about my reply that corrected her "facts". A kid I went to school with got mad and told me I shouldn't have said anything and how he's so sick people like me reply (on a PUBLIC status) to comments. I know and you know if I had said "amen!" He would have be a happy clam. It wasn't his status btw, it was a mutual friend's

the fact that our ancestors fled here to get away from religious persecution has to be proof enough that America was not founded on Christian values and would not be called the land of the free..

I've got to agree with the friend here. I don't post rants on Facebook for intense political discussion. I post them because I'm pissed off and looking for a way to vent.

Me or my SO are not lazy and want nothing or get nothing for free.
So that theory is incorrect.

People are still going on about this smurf? So what if he's Muslim? I was under the impression that we lived in a free country where we had the freedom to practice whatever religion we please, including the president.

Most people don't want a Muslim president when we are fighting Muslim extremists. Would he go with his country or his religion first? I'm not saying he is Muslim (he is a black liberation theologist which has Muslim and Christian beliefs), but that's just what the others I talk to say.

plus I don't recall ever learning that being a Christian was a qualification to be president. And the Muslim religion is actually peaceful. There's two diff kinds.
