if you have school-aged kids...

What the hell do you do with all of the drawings and smurf that they bring home?!

I feel bad throwing it away, so I don't.
But I feel like my house is covered in school work and it's driving me insane.
I've already filled a giant ass shoe box. And school started like 2 months ago. By the end of the year the insulation in our walls very well may be made out of school papers

Lol, I know the feeling. I save some, the most important ones. The rest I end up throwing out.

I don't have school-aged children, but I'm wondering the same. Whenever my daughter colors or paints a picture, we display it on the refrigerator, but they don't all fit up there. I thought about putting them in a scrapbook or something, because I hate to throw them away.

My oldest is in pre k..but he brings home alot of artwork too..i bought a tote i think its a 20 gallon? and I've just been putting them in there. i put some up in the playroom though. and on the fridge lol.

I keep the special/important stuff on the fridge for a week or so and then throw it away. Anything really really cool or important (like 1 piece of art for every few months and report cards) I file away after it's been on my fridge. I want her to have some stuff she made in school. She is in 2nd grade and it took me until this year not to keep EVERYTHING lol, it's hard because it all seems so important!

My mom kept all of them in a big box until the end of the year, then picked out 2 or 3 of her favorite ones and threw the rest out.

I make scarp books my son is in the 4th grade and I have 4 books full of art work( from 1-4th grade) I let him pick the artwork that he likes to save and the rest we hang them in his room or we make wrapping paper out of for his friends presents.

Our dining room is covered in artwork. I toss a lot, but I save some in a 3 ring binder. I put what year it is on the front, hold punch whatever it is, and stick it in. Whatever fits is what I'll keep. So, I'm selective. We also hang things up all over our school area (homeschooling).

I like the wrapping paper idea. thats different!

I put it in a keepsake box. He has a lot of art work lol. But I would never throw it out!

I keep the cute/important stuff but I definitely don;t keep everything.

I have this in my living room and my boys LOVE hanging their art work on it.

I throw alot of it away. I hang some of it up in his room and alots on the fridg! he is in 2nd grade and likes to do drawings at home too! I just cant keep up with all of them

I have this. It hold 50 pictures, and I just put the most recent one on top. With the others that I want t o keep I have a under the bed storage tub that I keep them in.

I also have a idea of making Christmas ornaments out of them to. Walmart sells the plastic softball sized clear ornaments for 97 cents and I was thinking of taking bits and pieces out of his artwork glue them on there and giving them to family members as gifts.
