Just another question.

Question so my 9 year old son has been in this faze of chewing/sucking on the collar of his shirts, he's been doing this for the pass 3 months. Is there anything I can do to stop him? I have been grounding him when he does it. Nothing seems to make him stop.
Today I found new shirts that I bought him a month ago all with holes in the collars.

I went through a phase when I was 7 or 8. I chewed my hair, my shirts, my towels. It was short-lived. My mom never grounded me, she just said it was gross. Now I puke if I get hair in my mouth.

Get him gum or have his teeth checked, if he's losing teeth then that could also be a reason for it. I chewed on everything when I was losing teeth

He plays with gum he will take it out of his mouth and make a ball out of it and squish it and wrap it around his fingers. He has all his adult teeth in also.
