I have been on this site for many years. I always feel bad for people that say, "AF is due today and so far it's not here!" Then like 5 days later, bad news no BFP and AF finally started. It seems there are so many women that think their cycle is always regular, but month after month they get their hopes up when AF doesn't show up on time.

I'm doing this poll to see how many people truly have a 28 or other number that is always regular. I'm guessing most people will click "Varies." I have a cycle that is between 33-36 days...it varies and I know stress or getting sick changes it. I ovulate around day 18-20. So I'm somewhat predictable, but I would never be able to say AF is due today.

If you click ALWAYS 28 days, that means AF has never been late. So all you ladies who have ever made a post that your AF was "due today" and you weren't pregnant, but it didn't start...you can't select that.  

Mine's usually every 26-28 days, but a couple of months ago (after 3 rounds of Clomid) mine was about a week late (counting after 28 days)

Mine is every 22-26 days. I have a short cycle. It's only been 26 days once. It most often is around 24. I'm pregnant now so no period obviously. I don't say I'm late unless it goes past 26 days. I take however the longest cycle has been & anything after that is my "late time".

That's a good idea. It wouldn't work for me though. Before my son 3 years ago, I could go 60 days before my next AF. After I was done BF him, my cycle became pretty regular but I have gone like 42 days in the last 2 years, but we weren't TTC so it didn't matter to me. Luckily we will be TTC soon and I can almost pinpoint ovulation and I know about when the next cycle will start because of it.  

IM the only one that voted for always 28 days so far. but now i guess i should have clicked the one underneath it cause it used to always be 28 days years adn years ago, But now its always 27 days. Never a day late. My period has never been late in my life. Except when i was pregnant.

I used to couldn't do that either. I have PCOS and my cycles used to be all over the place. I would only have like 4 periods a year (but I was in high school then and obviously not TTC). My cycles didn't regulate until a little over a year ago. They were regular every month from 6 months then I got pregnant and could pinpoint ovulation. I'm praying they go back to normal after my daughter is born but if not it'll be okay because I'm not TTC anymore children ever.

My average over the last year is 28 days.
My last three cycles were 28, 26, 27 and am now CD 8.
I don't consider myself 'late' til I'm at least 3 days passed my expected AF start date based on my OPKs and normal lutreal phase
In the last year I've had 2 cycles that were wacked. One was 45 days and another was 60 :/
Used to have short periods (only 16-21 cycle days)
Now I'm pretty regular. Anywhere from 26-28 days

Mine is always 30 days. Except for the 2 months that I had a chemical pregnancies. After those cleared and the next month (or two) approached, it was back on track.

Did anyone have wacky cycles before their first pregnancy and then after it was pretty regular? It was so hard never knowing when it would come, but after my son its regularish.

That's how mine were
Could never tell when I was going to get one.
Now they have been consistently 26-28 days
