C-Section Questions-Getting Ready & Afterwards

Just want to be clear there is no option in me going naturally unfortunalty do to a horrible induction and permanant damage in my birth canal from my daughter over 2 years ago   With that said, all my doctor told me to do was to eat my dinner no later than 6pm Monday, and only drink water and light snacks until midnight. Then nothing cause I'll be going in at 6 for a 7:30am c-section. The Dr that will be performing my csec was at an emergency delivery so I just got the other doctor. I've been reading on line and really there's not as much out there on csecs as there is on naturals. So what should I do to prepare myself for the hospital, for home, for breastfeeding etc? I just want to make sure I'm getting everything covered, the good and bad!

I have not had a csection, but I've heard several people say that a boppy is a life saver if you're breast feeding.

just make sure you have comfy sweats for when you leave that dont sit on the incision ive had 3 c sections and there really isnt alot you can prepare for

big ol granny panties and comfy pants....
boppy pillow for sure
try to get baby to latch on as soon as you can, in our hospital you recover in your room with baby

I've got a boppy pillow and a full body pillow I'm bringing with me to the hospital and thank you for the tip on getting a quick latch. I had a horrible time getting my daughter up on breast feeding cause they literally didn't let me nurse her for almost 10 hours and gave her bottles. I'm refusing them to give this one a bottle.
