How long did you have pain in your vagina before labor began

posted 10th Nov
I have pain and a lot of pressure in my vagina. It hurts, it is painful to walk, to get up or to sit down and it is just a pain in my ass when I am so busy with two smaller children. My due date is tomorrow so for my own personal sanity I was curious how long others went through this, had this pain or pressure before they went into labor. In the beginning of my pregnancy I was having issues and a lot of ultrasounds evaluations because my baby was "small". But yesterday a ultrasound concluded her estimated weight was 7lbs 8oz so no more worries about her being small! She should be big enough and ready to come already, anytime now. BUT this annoying, irritating pain in my vagina freaking hurts!! Really bad at some points!! Ugh. I am waiting for her to come naturally too so I hope I don't have to feel this way for too much longer.
Thanks.

I've been having vag pressure since 22 weeks this time around. I'm 30 weeks now and it's super painful now.

I understand. When I was pregnant with my son I started having pains when i was around 34 weeks. They were so painful I would just cry out when I had them. They always were unexpected and sharp. I had him a day before 39 weeks..Good Luck. Not to much longer for you mama!

Dang!! Yeah, my doctor was set me up with a gel induction on Tuesday the 13th which is two days after my due date but I opted out and cancelled it. I didn't feel comfortable with it or possible other interventions that could have followed. I want to have her come on her own but this pain really hurts! =(

It sounds like everyone had this pain for quite a while before they went into labor and gave birth. I hope that will not be the case for me! *Pouting* haha I don't even want to have sex because sex was already uncomfortable but now since my vagina literally hurts I couldn't imagine intercourse!

I did the gels. It was really weird, but it worked. I was already in early labor for a month tho, full on contractions, but wouldn't dilate at all. Had the same thing happen with my DD. As soon as my water is broken with each is when I progress. So frustrating telling docs that when they don't like breaking water.

If I have not had the baby by November 15 which is my next appointment I will probably consider the gels or some type of other more "natural" way of induction if this pain does not stop. It hurts. Pretty bad for me to sit, stand, walk, or anything that has to do with moving my body. I jut DO NOT want pitocin. I do know that.

I told them absolutely no pitocin. They said they would try the gels, but it has the risk of not working, and I would've been sent back home. I knew I was in labor though, so by the time I got the second dose I never even left the bed again cuz I couldn't move. I get back labor, so it really sucked, but I was elated as soon as I got my epi, lol.

Oh nice! Okay. Nice! I think that I could manage that with no pitocin. I will definitely have to talk to my doctor more thoroughly when I go in for my appointment on Thursday. =)
