My mom had to do the same exact thing turned out she had a few cancerous cells they went in with a laser and removed a little bit of the.cervix lining, and two years later had my lil sis who is now 9 and no more cells have returned! One thing about cancer with the female.parts is that is does have a very very high cure rate so try not to.stress! Also could be nothing at all just a annoying little cyst that wants to throw your pap results off.. Idk if my post easied or worried your anxiety however my intention was to ease your thoughts!! I'm sure everything is ok Hon!!

A few years back I had a bad pap, turns out I had the stage before HPV (whatever that means) and had to get a colposcopy. They take a piece of your cervix and send it in to be biopsied. I was terrified, especially because my mom had cervical cancer (even though that makes no difference) but turns out everything was fine. Haven't had a bad one yet. Just try not to worry too much. A lot of times you can have one bad pap and then it turns out everything is fine.

thanks ladies! a major reason im concerned is because my husband and i have been ttc for months now and then we find this out. it makes me feel better that you said your mom went on to have a healthy pregnancy after! i was reading that some of the procedures they use makes it harder to get pregnant and its already proved to not have been happening easily for us as it is :/

Oh yea and I forgot to add that I have a baby boy too. So it didn't effect getting pregnant for me.

i had the same thing when i was pregnant with my daughter (4 years ago) but they said it might have just been because of the pregnancy but obviously that wasnt the case now that it came back the same this time. im hoping for the best...

My mom was worried about the same issue she wanted to have one more child because her and my stepfather didn't have any of their own and the doc promised he would leave enough so she would be able to conceive and she did and it was a very healthy pregnancy and she was 32 at the time. So definitely don't give up hope!!
