Are these safe?

posted 9th Nov
I was just washing things and putting stuff in final places. I was wondering if these few things are safe to use. Thanks

1-

I have one of these that has a slit in the bottom, would it be safe to use in the car seat?

3- Pretty sure these aren't.
Also, I am 32 weeks tomorrow   and I am measuring 37 weeks. I have been having contractions and have medication to stop them.
When should I install the car seat base into the car?

1 is safe i'm pretty sure, idk about 2, 3 is NOT safe, and voids the warranty on your seat.

the positioner isn't and either are the shoulder covers. is it a miracle blanket or like a swaddleme? I know the swaddleme's are made to be used in harness, that's why they have the holes in the back... not sure about miracle blanket

I've never used the first 2 products but I use the carseat strap cover things cause if I don't the strap digs into LO's neck.
And I didn't install the carseat base untill I was ready to go to the hospital.

1. Not sure i was given some but never used them but 3. Is not safe to use. They are long and you have to push the chest clip down to make them
Fit which makes the baby unsafe. I used them for awhile and then I read up on carseat safety stuff and took them off immediately. My ds's chest clip was by his belly button with them on :/

I dont understand how 3 isnt ssafe? They are detachable, and are thin enough you can still get the straps as tight as they need to be.. You know the pinch rule..

They come on carseats when younbuy them new

After market products void the warranty. Ones that come with the seat are fine, so idk lol

maybe when they are bigger but for newborns? there isn't enough room for them. I know with my Maxi Cosi I had to take them off... they made it so the chest clip was at his belly buttom

The ones that come on the carseats meet manufacture and federal requirements for use on a carseat. The other ones are great for strollers.

OP~ I didn't use any of the three and didn't miss them! You can swaddle your child in a recieving blanket for cheaper and the same effect.

I'm guessing she had one given to her or something. Hell if it worked well, and was safe, why not? lol
