re: Are these safe?

1 is not safe, it's a SIDS/suffocation hazard. Unles syour doctor tells you to for Acid reflux

2 is safe.

3 is not, it voids your car seat warranty.

Number 2 is safe. I used it when my third baby for several months and she was a little premature. When she got too big for the wrap part usually you can remove it and still use it as a blanket. I also received from the hospital I had her at.

I used the sleep positioner with both of my kids and loved having it. We co-slept...I don't know if they're considered safe though because I can never find them in stores anymore.

I don't plan on co-sleeping ever. We are both to big and DH is a HEAVY heavy sleeper. She will be in the bassinet at the bottom of the bed. Was just wondering if it would be okay to use, but I am getting tossed answers LOL.

I liked it because my kids wanted to be held all the time and wrapping them and putting them in the positioner made them feel like I was still holding them. Plus they preferred sleeping on their sides so it kinda helped and REALLY helped with my son who had AR when I needed to put him at an incline.

I'm sorry to hear you are having contractions so early, but glad you are taking something to make them stop. I would install the car seat asap. As for the items I have no clue which ones are okay or not. I know the second one is a swaddler which is okay to use but not sure about using it in a car seat.

It is easy to install the carseat base. You could actually go to the nearest Fire Dept and have them do it for you. My husband did mine the day we brought the twins home and the night before with our son (the girls were an unexpected delivery, he was scheduled).

BIL is a battalion chief, I will have him check it. That or we live a block from the Fire Station in town. I just don't want to do it to early. DH youngest is 20, so IDK if I trust him putting it in LOL.

LOL

You could put it in now and be fine. If you think about it, December isn't that far off. You are due early Jan but that could really mean anytime in Dec depending on if they stop your contractions past the 37week mark. If I would have thought more about it with the girls I would have installed them before we tossed them in the car to go have the girls. lol There was just no time to figure them out on top of my hospital bag and a bag for hubby (he spent the entire time with me at the hospital). I was not banking on having them at 38w 6d. I was sure I was going the full monty with them. lol

With me measuring 5 weeks ahead, I don't think she will come in January either. I think she will come the beginning of December. Maybe I will put it in. Thanks for your help

Nope, everything is measuring where it should be. She is measuring 3 weeks ahead and my fundis (sp?) is 5 weeks. At my 28 week appointment he said she weighed almost 4 pounds already. He also said they can be off though too. Thank you, I am excited to see her too   She has some chubby cheeks.
