I'd get it checked out. I developed mastitis and a breast abscess after pumping and it sucked. I'd hate for yours to turn into something like that.

Did is start out like a pimple? I'm going to see how it feels and looks by Sunday and if it's worse I'll definitely make an appointment for Monday. Mastitis seriously freaks me out!

Yes, I recommend getting it checked out. It could be a boil or an infection caused by bacteria in the breast pump. In the meantime, it may not be recommended to use milk from that breast..it may be contaminated.

I don't really have any other choice. I don't have any saved that is older than a couple days.

I think you should call a nurse's hotline tonight then, rather than wait until Monday. If it is an infection, you can pass that to your baby and one bad scenario is they develop a yeast infection in their mouth and throat.
