My ovulation test question!

So i took my first every ovulation test today around 5pm and going by my cycle i was suppost to ovulate today. So i took the test and it came back with a faint positive. So i was wondering how can u tell if ur starting to ovulate or ending it?

How does an OPK have a "faint" positive?

Usually opk's are only positive when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. There isn't really a 'faint positive'.

What you would consider a faint positive by pregnancy test standards is actually a negative on an OPK. It's positive when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line.

Make sure you take them every day at the exact same time to get the most accurate results. Prime time for OPKs is around 2pm I believe.

i mean faint b/c u can see it but its not as dark as the control line, it even popped up before the control line did.

It's negative then. Read the instructions the opk came with.

Guess ill just test tomorrow and see what it says. thanks ladies!
