Thanks. I'm going to do everything I can, not just for but for DD, to get this thing out though...

My biggest concern with abdominal pain and headaches, are blood clots and ectopic pregnancies... Which I would have THOUGHT that as soon as I mentioned my BC, they'd want to check for...

I'll bring it up with the GYN as soon as I can see one. I'm sure they'll want to check it out... I'm just terrified of somehow getting an ectopic pregnancy, and losing a tube because no one catches it, which can happen with this birth control.

No joke that would be awful   why is it so hard to get a gyno?

I don't mind at all! The most important thing you have to remember is that, while they are professionals, they don't have super powers that let them know what's going on in your body. YOU know your pain, YOU know that you're feeling things that you're not supposed to. Those may be normal symptoms of Mirena but you shouldn't have to take ANYTHING that lowers your quality of life.

I've been fighting my old Dr's office in FL for paperwork to be sent here, and since I had a C-Section and have a Mirena, they need/want the papers before they'll see me. But if I tell them how bad it's getting, they may get me in anyhow...

Yeah, and every doctor I talk to says they're normal symptoms, but no one will/can remove it. My main doctor tried before I swapped to a different physician, and he said it was embedded, because him pulling it hurt and brought stars to my eyes.  

I took a Hydro, I have them for my ankle, and now I'm a lot better pain-wise. SO said if it starts over again, that we may see a lawyer, since they ignored every other symptom and focused on the headaches. And because they pretty much did a basic eye and nose and ear check and sent me home.

Dang. When I transferred drs I picked up my paperwork and took it with me. Too bad it's so far away or you didn't think of it before u left FL

That's ridiculous...Ugh. I think you should file a complaint, and if it turns out that you DO have complications with the Mirena, sue the hospital for not being proactive about your health. You'd DEFINITELY have a case!

I tried, they said it would take 2 months because they were backed up, and I was leaving in a month. And would cost me 10 bucks per page. They said I could transfer them up without a problem... but that was a load of malarchy...

Yeah, I may file one tomorrow. I was pissed off and crying when I left. They even ignored when the meds they gave me made my whole right side burn and feel like it was on fire.

If I have Mirena complications, I plan to go after EVERYTHING I can for it, since I've been fighting to get it removed since May and no one wants to do a damn thing about it. There's also a class action lawsuit for Mirena starting, from what I hear, so there's obviously a serious issue with it.

There's SO much smurf on the market as far as birth control is concerned. Depo Provera made my fibromyalgia so much worse. I haven't taken it since April and I'm still gaining weight. I've gained 25lbs and still going. =[ It maid me into a crazy hormonal bitch, and while I don't have migraines, I didn't have headaches until after I took it. I hope you get it out soon. This is a serious health issue! =[

The bad thing is, I had NO MORE issues with depression until I had it inserted. NONE. And now, BOOM, for almost a year, I've had depression and then days where everything is AWESOME, and cramps, pregnancy signs, and so on and so on...

SO's so worried about me mentally right now... I'm normally very pacifist, and I almost broke his XBox because of a misunderstanding and threw the controller across the room... granted he was fully ignoring me and my migraine was going SO BAD, but still... I never used to do that smurf...
