confused and need some advise

Yesterday I was contracting every 3-5 minutes have had my bloody show as well as lost my mucus plug... I am 40 weeks tomorrow!!! I called my doc they told me to come in lastnight so I did. They put me on monitors checked me and I was a "good" 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. They wasted me to progress a little more before they admitted me so I did... I went to 100% effaced and dilated a little more but not quite a 4... Well they gave me an ambien to sleep at the hospital and told me to.relax and rest they would check me again in the morning... I went to.the bathroom before I laid down and passed a blood clot the size of my hand and told them.about it they said it was probably.from.how I was laying down even tho.I was sitting up the whole time there.. neways I couldn't get comfy tosses n turned and the monitors kept moving around.and.not recording anything I could barely rest due to contrax and we kept having to re adjust. When doc came in at 6 am she checked the chart and seen no contrax I tried to tell het and she wouldn't listen n discharged me all day long I have been bleeding as if on my period n I'm confused why they discharged me

I would go back right away

Not to mention I went into.my doc office today as well and they said the bleeding could be from being checked. Ok that's understandable but the clot that was literally ad big as my hand... Still cramping and my pelvic bone and hips hurt so bad when I stand my legs tremble n feel like there gonna give out my mom is on the verge of flipping out on the docs and taking me thete and refusing to leave until they help me progress... What would you do in this situation????

Spotting is normal from being checked. not a full on period type bleed. Especially after having passed a blood clot that big. Go back in and don't leave until they give you a suitable answer.

did you show them the clot? maybe they think you exagerated? Hate to say it... but patient's tend to do that.

My doc office said ooh this is regular with 1st time pregnancys but yet thwy preach how different every pregnancy is... I know what's normal and whats not I just don't feel like I should have been discharged my primary ob wasn't the one there lastnight or who I seen today or else this problem wouldnt be happening. I think after thinning out from 70 to 100% in just a matter of an hour and a half and dilated about 1/2 a cm obviously that's making quick progress and I feel like it would have been safe to give it a boost but the bleeding is my biggest issue they acted like they didn't care at all
