Urinary Incontinence (maybe TMI)

posted 9th Nov
Do any of you have it? If so, what did you do to help fix it? Everyone always tells me to do kegels, but I've been doing them since before my son was born and I still have practically no control over my bladder. Like, if I sneeze, I leak, if I laugh, I leak, if I cough, I leak, and worst of all, if my bladder is full, I have to go NOW or I will pee myself. It's so embarrassing and I am so scared it's going to get worse after I have this little one.

I talked to my last OB about it and she told me kegels or surgery, but I was reading somewhere about a plastic thing you can basically wear? I really don't want to do surgery if I don't have to.

My Mom had the surgery for this. And while she says it was the worst one for healing wise, she's so glad she did it.

See a physical therapist about this. They can help you rehab your pelvic region to help.

My husband suggested benwa balls, but I've never heard anything from anyone who's actually used them lol

I have had bladder problems for ever. Before I got pregnant this time I went to a urologist who put me on pills. They worked but made me constipated so I stopped taking them. It'd to the point if I sit down and stand back up I leak.

This too. I constantly feel like everyone knows, even though I wear pads to prevent leaking, I just feel like everyone knows.
