If his dad has custody then short of filing for custody there isn't anything you can do.

But give him time, it's going to take awhile for him to get used to what's going on in his life. He's had a lot of change going on in a short amount of time and that's gotta be hard on him.

And maybe some alone time with mum would help. Let him talk about what's happening with him.

However, the changes probably are a lot for the little guy to handle. I don't know the entire story, but if he's being bounce from one place to the other....that's rough. Be consistent, remind him how important it is to share, don't hesitate to stick him in timeout if needed....but show some grace. Sounds like the little guy is having a hard time with whatever adjustments he's having to make.

i guess i have to learn to understand. i just expected to have the same boy that i raised and i definitely don't want him to treat his brother and sisters any different just because and that worries me a lot. we've talked a lot today about his home life, his new school. he has his own room, television, they got him his own computer.. i can't ever compete with that and i don't want him to disown me for it, kwim?
