C-section mamas !

I'm 2 weeks PP. I am dying to take a hot bath. I went to the doctor Wednesday and he said I was healing good. I forgot to ask him if I could. So how long did you wait, do you think it'll be okay if I take one ?

I waited like 3 months. I'd call and ask.

I waited 6 weeks

I would , but they are closed.

I waited till my pp bleeding had completely stopped

My OB told me no sooner than 6 weeks because any sooner and you are at higher risk of infection

My PP bleeding has completely stopped. I can't remember how long I had to wait with DS. I know he cleared me to take one before 6 weeks. I just can't remember.
I guess I will wait until Monday to call   "Shrugs"

Well your wound is all closed I am sure and your post preg bleeding has stopped - I dont see the problem - I had a wonderfully fast healing after the 2nd csection! but I would maybe if you REALLY want to call the local hospital and ask a nurse? they may know!

fairly quickly.... you can look at yoru incision and see if it's healed. If so.. I'd take a bath

I think it's pretty much healed, doc pulled the glue off at the visit as well.

I waited 2 or 3 weeks. I ended up getting a UTI. Not sure if it was because I took one before 6 weeks, but I'll wait the full 6 next time!

In my discharge paper it said 7 days. Has the glue peeled off yet? At 2 weeks my glue was peeling off so I jumped right in lol

Yeah, he actually peeled some of the glue off hisself when I went to the check up appointment 2 days ago.

If your incision is closed you should be able to.
Also if your bleeding that would cause an infection because your body is still cleaning out the baby "leftovers" so your basically still open but if you stopped bleeding it means your body is healed from the baby.
